Meridian Café is a downtown Puyallup institution — a scratch-made breakfast spot with real history baked into the walls. We rebuilt once after a fire, and came back better than ever.
Carrying a Tradition Forward
When Crockett's Restaurant Group took over from the beloved Auntie B's, they inherited a loyal Puyallup community — and added their own commitment to cooking everything from scratch.
After the Fire
A roof fire forced a full rebuild — and we came back with a bigger dining room, a more capable kitchen, and a new private banquet space, without losing the soul of the original.
The Walls Still Remember
The original hand-painted signage — "Wear Days Big Shirts and Overalls" — stayed put. Vintage black-and-white Puyallup prints line the walls, and the character hits you the moment you walk in.
Cooking That Keeps You Coming Back
Corned beef hash built by hand, hash browns golden and crisp every time, and a cinnamon roll frosted to order — the kind of cooking that turns one visit into a Sunday ritual.
A Puyallup Morning Spot
Neighbors pull up to the same booths every week, servers know regulars by name, and the prices still match the neighborhood. We're glad you found us.
