Historical Buildings in Puyallup

Compliments of the Puyallup Historical Society

After years of serving the loyal patrons of Puyallup, Auntie B's sold their space to the Crockett's Restaurant Group and hence the Meridian Café was born! Shortly after the opening, the Meridian Café experienced a devastating fire from which we had to re-build.

From the fire came progress with a beautiful new dining room and more modern kitchen and bathrooms. We are still serving up the same homemade goodness the Crockett's Restaurant Group has become known for breakfast and lunch.

From the historical Puyallup prints scattered around the space to the rustic brick wall with the building's original hand painted signage that reads, "Wear Days Big Shirts and Overalls," you will love the pure charm that resonates from the Meridian Café in downtown Puyallup.

The Cafe is available for after hour events for large groups and also hosts a small banquet room for meetings and private parties. Please call the restaurant to reserve.

Meridian Café – Puyallup Restaurant Review
By Don Doman

The hash browns were absolutely perfect…The sausage links were browned just enough and served juicy!…Meridian Café is owned by the same people as Crockett’s. That’s a really good sign.

The Meridian Café has Re-Opened
By Kelly Lenihan

“The dining room has been updated, too,” said Brobak. He added new floors and the walls showcase old photos of historic Puyallup. Plastered walls artfully surround the brickwork preserved from the original building. You will experience the charm of this historical building the moment you walk through the doors.

By Sue Kidd

More fridge space means the kitchen staff potentially can expand the menu to add more items. There’s also more grill space. The design is more conducive to how modern kitchens operate. The dining room has been updated, too.

the cinnamon roll our table shared was just fantastic! Don't try and eat it on your own, split it up with some friends because it is a lot of cinnamon roll. The frosting on top was yummy as well, I implore you to get this roll if you're at the Cafe.

Fast service, very friendly. Food is excellent. Cinnamon roll is huge and not too sweet.

Great breakfast! Ordered the All American and a giant cinnamon roll; it came with a steak knife! It was delicious! Wonderful service too. This little cafe is much better than the old place that used to be here, Auntie B's. Highly recommend!

My family came here today to try something new and we are so glad we did! Friendly staff members, they're great with kids, quick service, delicious food and good prices! We look forward to coming back!

Big step up from Aunty B's in quality with the same charm. Most items are made fresh, in-house now. The corned beef hash is not that mush from a can, it's made from scratch. The cinnamon roll is AMAZING and way better than any chain. If you're in the area looking for a good breakfast, this is probably the best spot in Puyallup.
